Laksefjordvidda – No. 1 for coarse fishing

Laksefjordvidda has Norway’s largest concentration of lakes for trout and arctic char.

Storelva is a salmon river, easily accessible and breath-takingly beautiful. The river is managed by Kunes JFF.

Open from 22 Jun. to 24 Aug.

Along with the lakes of the  Laksefjordvidda, the river  Adamsfjordelva offers plenty of trout fishing opportunities. Laksefjord is one of Norway’s two most pristine fjords. Easy access to a landscape teeming with life has had a major influence on the local culture. Here you will find bird nesting cliffs, and a wide variety of wildlife.

Eagles up close

Come to Kunes and experience the excitement of photographing eagles at close range. We have large populations of both golden eagles and sea eagles that we are eager to show you. A wartime German bunker has been turned into a hide/observation area. Here you can shelter from the weather, enjoy a simple meal and learn a little of the region’s history at the same time.

[GMF1]Have inserted ”hiking” because most English-speaking/non-Norwegian readers will probably not know how to cross country ski, but may be interested in walking/hiking in the summer. The photograph is a summer shot, and does not really fit with the mention of skiing. Am assuming that the trails are market also in summer. Is this correct?
